Who: The American Booksellers Association, a number of Small Business Rising partners, and small business owners around the country
What: Demand that the Small Business Administration drop Amazon as a sponsor of National Small Business Week by posting social media assets with the hashtag #SBADumpAmazon
Where: On official business social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, X (afka Twitter), and Threads
When: Wednesday, March 20 … morning until … SBA drops Amazon as a co-sponsor. AND PLEASE DO NOT POST BEFORE MARCH 20!

Book Biz Book Club: I Don't Just Work Here

The Book Biz Book Club is designed to help booksellers elevate their business acumen and stay ahead in the dynamic world of bookselling. Join us as we read and discuss a diverse range of business books, ranging from retail strategies and customer engagement, to time management and workplace dynamics. On March 20 at 3pm ET, join us for a conversation about I Don't Just Work Here: The New Purpose of Workplace Culture by Felicia Joy and Elena Grotto (9781637744680).
