Policy with Purpose: Writing Policies that Align Vision, Law, and Inclusivity

Policy with Purpose: Writing Policies that Align Vision, Law, and Inclusivity (February 24, 2025)
In this facilitated, interactive workshop, attendees will focus on how we best create clarity with our Human Resource (HR) policies and manuals. Together, we will discuss and write sample policies that are kind, inclusive, and adhere to Federal and State employment laws. Attendees will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the policies, and create policies that strive to balance employees’ preferences for a happy workplace with legal requirements and owners’ vision. In this workshop, attendees will also discuss how to create a system for consequences, resolution, and course correction driven by incentives over consequences.
