The Children’s Institute 2025 will take place at the Oregon Convention Center. We’ll kick off with a Buddy Meet & Greet followed by the PATHWAYS Mixer for Black, Indigenous, AAPI, Latina/o/x, Chicana/o/x,  Hispanic, and BIPOC attendees on Wednesday, June 11, at 5:15 pm PT.

Registration opens Thursday, March 20 at 1:00 pm ET/10:00 am PT, and will cost $360. Keep an eye on your inbox! We'll be sending out more registration details soon. For information on what to know before you register, check out this infographic [1].

The ABA hotel block will open on Thursday, April 10 at 1:00 pm ET. A booking link will be emailed to registered attendees.

Note on Costs

ABA worked extensively to keep costs as low as possible for Ci2025 attendees. These prices reflect the rising cost of food in general and the high cost of hosting events in Portland. We have made several changes to this Institute in order to help manage the registration cost for booksellers. For example:

• Breakfast options have been simplified
• We’ve reduced the number of free drink tickets for each attendee.

While the registration fee is higher than previous Institutes, ABA continues to subsidize the cost for each attendee.
