2024 Regional Events

Beginning at the end of summer, regional independent bookseller associations hold their annual events. The ABA CEO and COO attend, as do staff from ABA’s Education and Membership departments. ABA’s CFO and CCO also attend, depending on availability. ABA will be exhibiting at the trade shows; attending board meetings, annual meetings, and town halls when possible; presenting education; and visiting stores. We look forward to seeing you there!

Prioritizing Cash Flow: 10 Areas to Review for Improved Cash Flow and Profitability: The true key to being in control of your business is to be in control of your cash. A bookstore’s financial stability is dependent on far more than just profitability, and cash flow determines your store’s ability to cover day-to-day expenses, such as purchasing inventory, paying suppliers, and meeting operational costs.
