Free Shipping

To create a free shipping method on your website, navigate to Store > Configuration > Shipping Quotes.

  1. Click on the ‘Add flat rate quote’ link at the top of the list.
  2. Enter the ‘Shipping method title’; this is what you or any of your store’s staff sees on the Shipping Quotes list.  We recommend naming it descriptively, to differentiate it from other similar shipping methods.
  3. Enter the ‘Line item label’; this is what the customer sees when they see the shipping option at check-out.
  4. Enter 0 for ‘Base price’ and ‘Default product shipping rate’
  5. Submit

Free Shipping for domestic orders only

If you want to offer the free shipping option for domestic orders only:

  1. On the option you just created, there are three links to the right: edit, conditions and delete.  Click ‘conditions’.
  2. Click ‘add condition’
  3. From the drop down, select ‘Check an order’s shipping country’.
  4. Select United States on the next page
  5. Save

We recommend doing a few test orders yourself to make sure everything works properly
